WWA Europe is made up of Riders, Event Organizers, Promoters, Sponsors, Judges, Officials, Cable Wake Park Owners, Media Partners and YOU - the WWA Fans, who support our sport! If you want to know more, talk to the riders, talk to the organizers, visit our partners, sponsors and affiliates, but the best way to learn about the World Wakeboard Association is to participate and be part of the process.By becoming a member of WWA Europe, riders will be joining an active association dedicated to the developmentand advancement of wake sports and committed to introducing new participants to all disciplines of wake riding and the lifestyle that truly is the soul of our sport. Founded in 1989 by Jimmy Redmon, the World Wakeboard Association is a non-profit organization created by riders for riders. The WWA organizes wake sports in a way that doesn’t inhibit individual freedom and creativity and aims to showcase the talents of the sport’s most progressive riders. Some of the rider benefits include guaranteed prize payouts, an international ranking system, judging, boat driving and educational instruction and a path towards a professional career in the sport on a global scale. WWA competitions are open to ALL riders and membership allows you to compete in any WWA sanctioned event for boat, cable wake park and rail jams around the world for the entire calendar year.
