CamSur Watersports Complex is set to host

2009 WWA Wake Park World Championships March 25th -29th.  

   

 

The World Wakeboard Association (WWA) along with Governor LRay Villafuerte Jr. and the Camsur Watersports Complex (CWC) have again partnered to bring you the 2009 WWA Wake Park Worlds to be held on March 25th – 29th, 2009 in the beautiful province of Camarines Sur, Philippines.

 

Alongside the 2009 WWA Wake Park World Championships pulled behind the cable, CWC will again host the first stop of the WWA Wakeboard World Series during the same week. The CamSur Rider’s Cup will kick off the World Series behind the boat, with all of the world’s top riders competing for a chance to become the WWA Wakeboard World Series champion at the end of the season.

T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds - Final Stop WWA WPWS

Final stop of the WWA Wake Park World Series

After four highly successful stops in Toulouse, France (Protest Pro Am), the World Championships in the Philippines, Copenhagen, Denmark and Kiev, Ukraine, riders gathered together once more to celebrate the final stop of the first ever professional WWA Wake Park World Series in Hamburg (Pinneberg), Germany at the T-mobile Extreme Playgrounds. Ten riders were invited, two entered by winning the Local Support event in Germany and 2 more got into the competition as Wild Card winners. The final 2 spots were reserved for WPWS riders who battled it out during the Saturday qualifying round. The riding was exciting and intense to say the least and with the finals broadcast live on MTV Europe, the pressure was on for these riders to perform at their full potential. WWA Wake Park World Series - Stop #4
Copenhagen, Denmark (16-17th of Aug 2008)

Immediately following Stop # 3 in Kiev, Ukraine, riders met in this charming town on the Baltic Sea, where all had to fight for the best positions in the overall ranking for the WWA Wake Park World Series results. The weather was really good, sunny and warm, and the riders were able to enjoy the sandy area around the cable. There were winners in three categories: Pro Women, Pro Men and Pro Wakeskate. Tom Fooshee, Bret Little and Maxine Sapulette took top spots on the podium.

Copenhagen Cable Park is set to host the 4th stop
of the 2008 WWA Wake Park World Series
with $25,000 in Total Cash Prizes!

The World Wakeboard Association (WWA) and Copenhagen Cable Park (CCP) are pleased to announce the 4th stop of the 2008 WWA WPWS. This event will take place August 15-17 in Copenhagen, Denmark and all international competitors are welcome to participate in 5 different categories including Pro Men Wakeboard, Pro Women Wakeboard, Pro Wakeskate, Gator Boards Obstacles Only contest and Copenhagen Cable Park Best Trick contest.
